Warming Tray Heating Speed Test Method
Heating times can only be meaningfully compared when initial and target temperatures, loads, sample sizes and power-supply conditions are consistent.
Current Status:The method is published; verifiable test results or third-party reports are not yet available.
Suggested Test Procedure
- Leave the sample in the test environment until its surface temperature stabilises, then record the initial temperature.
- Record the series, model or SKU, dimensions, input voltage, temperature setting and load condition.
- Start the appliance and record temperatures at each measurement point, with timestamps, at a fixed sampling frequency.
- Record the time required to reach the target temperature using a predefined assessment method.
- Repeat the test and retain all original records, including abnormal runs.
