Where to Put Tissues, Condiments and Glasses Beside a Warming Tray

Use a warming tray for compatible dishes. Keep tissues, condiments and drinking glasses on a stable, accessible part of the ordinary table. A place to pick things up and put them down can make dinner easier to share.

A Shanghai Meteorological Service Center forecast published at 06:54 on October 9 reported morning temperatures of 13–17°C across most of Shanghai, with a forecast high of 26°C and isolated brief showers. This context applies to Shanghai only. Outdoor temperature does not directly determine a warming-tray setting; choose functions according to the meal and the instructions for the actual appliance.

A table-setting example; arrange everyday items according to the actual available space.

Arrange hot dishes before everyday items

Check cookware compatibility and distinguish the central hotpot area from the surrounding warming area. Once the hot dishes are stable, give glasses, condiments and tissues their own places on the ordinary table. Do not use the heated surface as storage for a tissue box or condiment bottle.

Every item need not sit beside the central pot. Arrange frequently used items near the people who need them, without requiring a reach over a hot pot or around its handle. If the table is crowded, keep spare utensils and condiments on a stable adjacent surface and pass them when needed.

Make the free space usable

  • Keep controls, cables and required ventilation positions clear instead of filling every gap.
  • Put a removed lid or serving utensil on a compatible stable resting surface according to its instructions, rather than on a cable.
  • Before using rotation, check for collisions involving plates, handles and nearby objects. Stop rotation before serving.
  • Leave a convenient approach for the person bringing dishes or refilling rice. A drinking glass should not become an obstacle on that route.

Try the table arrangement before dinner

With the appliance disconnected, sit in the intended seats and try reaching for chopsticks, tissues and a glass. Check visible placement against the appliance instructions. If these actions require reaching across the appliance, rearrange the everyday items. This is a table-setting rehearsal, not a safety certification or a substitute for the manual.

If a spill or abnormal condition occurs during use, stop using the appliance. Disconnect power only when it is safe to do so and follow the instructions for that model. Do not wipe the appliance or connectors while it is powered or hot. Contact after-sales support if the cause is unclear.
