If heating is not needed, use the manual turntable function only as supported by your model. After a heated meal, switch off, disconnect the power and allow the appliance to cool fully before changing its use. Switching off does not mean the surface is already cool.

Different weather, different meal arrangements
China Weather's October 11 forecast describes rain and cooling reaching many northern areas during October 11–13, while warmth continues in Jiangnan and southern China. Conditions and meal needs differ on the same day. Decide whether to use warming from the actual indoor conditions, the menu and the meal plan. If heating is unnecessary, consider manual turntable use only after confirming that the model supports it; a seasonal name alone is not a reason to switch heating on.
ZVVEN's product configuration information includes using the appliance as a manual turntable after disconnecting it and letting it cool. First confirm that your purchased model supports this use and follow its supplied instructions. Do not extend one model's instructions to other appliances.
Complete the transition in three steps
- End heating and powered movement.Switch off the running functions as instructed and stop rotation. Do not disconnect cables or move the appliance while it is rotating.
- Disconnect safely.Keep hands dry and first unplug the mains plug as directed, without pulling on the cable. A detachable cable does not imply that the appliance-side connector may be unplugged while powered.
- Allow full cooling.Handle the hot pot, dishes and appliance appropriately as separate items. Do not test a hot area by touching it, and do not assume one cooling interval applies to every load. If the appliance-side cable needs to be detached, wait for full cooling and then follow the model instructions.
Check the arrangement again before manual rotation
Use a stable, dry table and follow the model's placement requirements. Keep dishes steady and follow the permitted load and container instructions. An unpowered appliance is not a workbench, and it is not a reason to stack dishes or overload it. Check that nearby items cannot collide with the rotating assembly, then turn it gently. If it catches, stop and examine the external arrangement rather than forcing it.
When several people are serving themselves, agree who turns and who takes food. Wait until the turntable stops before serving. Rotation helps bring dishes within reach, but does not replace supervision around hot containers. See the table-serving guide.
Unpowered use does not preserve food temperature
A manual turntable provides rotation and a place for dishes. It does not actively heat or keep food warm while disconnected. Foods that require refrigeration still need it; hot food does not maintain a particular temperature merely because it rests on a warming tray. Do not treat unpowered use as a food-storage method.
Before enabling heating again, check containers, connections and the surroundings, then follow the model's instructions. Consult the container guide and the cleaning and storage guide as needed.
Current reference: China Weather, October 11, 2026, 08:00:00. This is a regional forecast for October 11–13, not a uniform nationwide temperature or a way to infer food temperature from outdoor weather. Appliance use follows the brand's supplied configuration information and the specific model's instructions. No cooling-time, turning-resistance or food-temperature tests were performed for this article.
